Payment Data FAQ

What data of yours can we see?

BALLOTLINE uses a third-party payment processor (Stripe) to collect, settle, manage, or otherwise transact business payments, including subscription payments, with users. All credit card or other banking-related information is managed via Stripe and is not accessible by BALLOTLINE. BALLOTLINE never collects payment related data such as credit card numbers, card expiration, CVV numbers, or other banking-related data as part of doing business.

In limited circumstances, such as charge disputes or subscription management, BALLOTLINE may be provided with certain personally identifiable information from Stripe to identify customers, identify subscriptions or transactions, process refunds, or assist in general customer needs. Stripe will never provide private credit card or banking information and will only provide customer data such as customer names or email addresses at the request of the customer. Customers may voluntarily provide personal information to BALLOTLINE via email or other communication as part of payment, subscription, or other service inquiries.

Payment data made available to BALLOTLINE through the natural course of doing business as described above is not saved, stored, or otherwise held for use by BALLOTLINE.
